Rock Against Diabetes, NW November 2006
We created and organized this event to help find a cure for our 4-year-old son Henry. Henry’s dad, Tom, plays in “Sketchy Ted” and annually recruits many of his fellow bands to join the fight against
diabetes!
Thank you to all the people who came out to the third annual Rock Against Diabetes, NW benefit concert for the JDRF and Gales Creek Camp. On November 11, 2006 at McMenamins, Kennedy School The third annual Rock
Against Diabetes raised over $1400 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Gales Creek Camp! We are so pleased that we have so many generous family members, old friends, and many new ones! Thank
you so much for your ongoing support, encouragement, and generosity.
A special thank you to McMenamins and the amazing bands that “rocked” us closer to a cure: Mission 5, Rachel Taylor Brown, Sketchy Ted, The Lonesomes, Scotland Barr & The Slow Drags, Amanda Richards,
Fuzzball, Weight of Atlas, Kaitlyn ni Donovan, Gales Creek Camp Allstars and Madison & Jennifer.
Thank you to all the volunteers from GalesCreek and JDRF for working the door, providing the information table, and for hosting the kids table.
We have already begun planning RAD, NW 2007. We have booked the same space but this time we got our Saturday! So put it on your calendar for Saturday, November 10th, 2007 at McMenamin’s KennedySchool. With up
to 12 hours of music you should be able to find some time in the day to come (:
Thank you again,
The Kilman Family Jennifer, Tom, George, Henry, Kate, and Ellen
